The CUET English syllabus questions consist of the following topics:
1. Reading Comprehension
There are 3 types of passages (300-500 words max.)
i. Factual
ii. Narrative
iii. Literary
2. Verbal Ability
3. Choosing the correct word
4. Rearranging the parts
5. Synonyms and Antonyms
6. Vocabulary
- In the comprehension portion you will be graded on your understanding of a passage and its core idea as well as the meanings of words used in the passage.
- The grammar component consists of fixing grammatically faulty sentences filling in blanks in sentences with proper words and so on.
- Synonyms and Antonyms questions will assess one's mastery of the English language.
- Practice Verbal Ability, Rearranging Parts, Selecting the Correct Word, Synonyms, Antonyms and Vocabulary.
