CUET Arts/Humanities Syllabus : Subject Combinations
1 Language + Up to 4 Domain Subjects + General Aptitude Test (Maximum 5 tests in total)
Please note that for certain courses, the University may require candidates to include specific domain subjects in the CUET exam to meet the eligibility criteria. For instance, in order to be considered for admission into the B.A. Economics (Hons.) course at Delhi University, students must take Mathematics/Applied Mathematics as a domain subject. Most universities expect the chosen domain subjects to align with Class 12 subjects. A student can opt for a maximum of 5 tests/subjects from all sections combined.
CUET Arts/Humanities: Exam Pattern
The CUET 2026 exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. Each test is independent, with 50 MCQs to be attempted in 60 minutes. There are no internal choices – all 50 questions are compulsory.

CUET Arts/Humanities Syllabus: Language
The CUET Humanities/Arts stream students have an option of 13 languages, and an aspirant can choose any one of them. Questions from the Language Section will be from the following topics:
1. Reading Comprehension: There will be three types of passages (maximum 300-350 words): i. Factual ii. Narrative iii. Literary
