What is CUET?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a national level entrance test, called Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate admissions. With the aim of inculcating ‘One Nation, One Entrance Exam' ideology, this entrance examination has been designed to offer admissions to students regardless of their domain, caste, ethnicity, economic and financial background. Every year, CUET welcomes more than 10 lakh candidates to compete for admission in more than 500 prestigious universities across all domains.

What is the CUET 2027 Exam Pattern?
Divided among three sections, the CUET Exam Pattern consists of 13 Indian languages, 23 domain-specific subjects and 01 General Aptitude Test, amounting to 37 subjects in total. Candidates can choose upto a maximum of five subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test irrespective of the subjects opted in class XII. CUET format recommends that the candidate may select the subjects based on the eligibility criteria for a programme of a desired university.

What is the CUET 2027 Syllabus?
NTA has neatly defined the Languages and Domain Subjects available for students to choose from. Appearing candidates can choose a maximum of 5 Languages and/or Domain Subjects. Paper I: Language
The language section of the CUET exam evaluates candidates on their reading comprehension skills based on different types of passages, including factual, literary and narrative. Paper II: Domain Subjects 
In the Domain Subject Section, a total of 23 subjects are offered by NTA for CUET. For these programs, admissions are to be made on the basis of performance in the General Aptitude Test. The syllabus for Domain Subjects is based on the syllabus of class 12th. Below is the list of subjects offered:

What is the CUET 2027 Eligibility Criteria?
It is mandatory that the aspirant meets the basic eligibility requirements in order to appear for CUET 2027:
  • Qualification: Class 12 pass or appearing in 2027 from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: 45% (General) and 40% (SC/ST/OBC).
  • Age Limit: No age restrictions

What is the  CUET 2027 Application Process?
  • STEP 1: Access the Registration Form
  • Find the official online application form from the official NTA website and note down the system-generated Application Number. Create your Password and proceed to choose complete verification as instructed.
  • STEP 2: Fill in the Application Form
  • Next, complete the Application Form including filling up personal details and educational qualification. Then, carefully proceed by selecting the university/ programme name, test paper details, examination city. Upload the images and documents (as required).
  • STEP 3: Upload the needed Documents
    1. Photograph: 10 kb to 200 kb and in JPG/JPEG format.
    2. Signature: 10 kb to 50 kb and in JPG/JPEG format.
    3. Disability/UDID Certificate (if any): Scanned copy between 50 kb to 300 kb.
  • STEP 4: Fee Payment
  • After all the formalities are completed, the candidates are required to pay the examination fee online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI. Please note that the fee can not be paid offline.
  • STEP 5: Downloading Confirmation Page
  • Once the candidate has successfully paid the fee, they are advised to download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form for future reference.
