Common Errors to Avoid While Filling CUET UG 2027 Application Form
  • Entering incorrect personal details: Ensure your name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number match the required documents and are entered without spelling or typing errors.
  • Providing incorrect academic information: Check your board, school/college details, year of passing, and marks before submitting the form.
  • Choosing subjects without checking eligibility: Do not select CUET subjects randomly. Check the subject requirements of each university and programme before finalising your choices.
  • Selecting unsuitable exam centres: Review your preferred examination cities carefully before submission.
  • Uploading incorrect documents: Follow the prescribed specifications for the photograph and signature, including file size, format, and other requirements mentioned by NTA.
  • Ignoring the declaration: Read the declaration carefully and confirm that all information provided in the application form is accurate.
  • Not reviewing the form before submission: Recheck every section, including personal, academic, subject, and programme details, before paying the application fee and submitting the form.
  • Assuming all university requirements are the same: CUET participation does not mean that every university or programme has identical eligibility or subject requirements.
  • Missing application deadlines: Complete registration, fee payment and final submission within the dates specified by NTA.
Important: Since the CUET UG 2027 application process has not yet been released, specific image dimensions, file-size limits, number of subjects and correction provisions should be presented as “based on previous-year guidelines” until NTA releases the official 2027 information bulletin.
How to Select Universities After CUET Result 2027
After the CUET UG 2027 result is announced, candidates must participate in the admission or counselling process of their preferred CUET-participating universities. NTA conducts CUET and declares the scores, while individual universities conduct their own admission and counselling processes.
Candidates should:
  • Check the official admission portal of each preferred university.
  • Verify the programme-wise eligibility and subject requirements.
  • Register for the university's counselling/admission process within the specified deadline.
  • Select and prioritise preferred programmes, colleges or campuses, wherever the university provides a preference-filling facility.
  • Compare their CUET score with the university's previous-year cutoff or minimum allocation score.
  • Carefully review the seat-allocation and counselling rules before submitting preferences.
  • Track each allocation round and complete the required admission steps if a seat is allotted.
Candidates should not assume that appearing for CUET automatically completes the university admission process. The participating university's admission portal and rules must be followed separately.
