For getting admission into all UG Programs in all the Central Universities for the academic session 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has created the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) - 2023) under the Ministry of Education(MoE). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) offers applicants a uniform platform and equal opportunities throughout the country, especially tothose from rural and other remote places.The candidates would be able to participate in the admissions process for numerous Central Universities by taking just one exam.
It was formerly known as CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test). Earlier, UGC conducted this exam in paper-based mode. However, from last year, NTA (National Testing Agency) took over the responsibility. With many more universities and institutes under its ambit,CUET 2023 has a much wider outreach and scope today.
CUET Exam and NTA
NTA is going to conduct CUET EXAM 2023 over a set of dates from 21 to 31 May 2023. CUET EXAM (UG) 2023 will be held at different test centres located across 500+ cities in India and 10 cities abroad. The authorities have also provided practice questions for various subject tests and general tests (in all languages) on the official website.
NTA has organised the test in multiple shifts over multiple days for admission in different undergraduate/integrated, postgraduate, and research programmes across centrally-funded universities. For CUET (UG) 2023 alone, more than 14 lakh candidates have registered and applied for thousands of different courses offered across 90+ institutes in India. What is the CUET Exam?
CUET EXAM 2023 or Common University Entrance Testis a mandatory common entrance exam for admission in Undergraduate Programmes in 40+ Central Universities across India. State and Private universities can also adapt to the CUET admission criteria. The board will organise the exam in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode for the 2023 academic sessions by NTA.
The examination gives an opportunity to the students to be tested on their skills on the topics like- General aptitude, English, Reasoning etc. One needs to prepare reasonably to be on the top of the merit list in the CUET EXAM results. CUET Exam Pattern

There are three sections in the CUET Exam Pattern 2023: Languages, Domain, and General Test. Further, there are two subsections of the first section, Languages, where candidates can choose from 13 languages for the first subsection and 20 languages for the second. The domain subject part allows students to pick from 27 different domain subjects. The last part of the general test contains everything from General Awareness to Current Affairs, mental ability, numerical ability, etc. As this examination consists of negative marking, candidates must be careful while attempting the CUET exam. The CUET authorities will not review and access questions the candidates do not attempt. Unanswered questions would not have any impact on the final merit score.
Admissions to the Central universities all over India are based on the CUET EXAM score. Therefore, a candidate has to put in a lot of effort to crack the examination with a merit score.     CUET EXAM 2023 Eligibility Criteria
    The eligibility criteria for CUET EXAM 2023 for the undergraduate program are:
    • Candidates should score at least 50% marks in their +2 examination in the General category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
    • Candidates should have taken up subjects in +2 depending upon the course they opt for.
    • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 intermediate examination from a recognised board to be eligible for undergraduate study.
    • Application requirements for PG: To qualify for the examination, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
    • Indian citizens must be applicants in order to be eligible for the CUET 2023 examination.
    • Final-year students may also apply for this examination, but they must provide documentation of passingthe examination before the deadline.

    Below is the complete information that applicants need to know about the CUET EXAM Application Form 2023:
    The application form will be available via online mode.
    From 09 February to 12 March 2023 (up to 09:00 P.M.), applicants will be able to complete the application form.
    Only applicants who meet the criteria can submit an application form.
    • To avoid having their applications rejected, applicants must fill out the application form with accurate information.
    The candidate must fill out the application form according to the instructions.
    No applicant will be permitted to submit the application form after the last day for submission, so each applicant must submit their application before that date.
    The authority should give the correction facility in the application form.
    The application form’s last date of submission will be 12 March 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.) tentatively.
    Applicants should keep a copy of the filled application form and fee receipt for future reference.

    How to fill CUET EXAM 2023 Application Form?
    To fill in the application form, candidates must know the steps to register for the CUET EXAM 2023. Follow the step to fill CUET EXAM Application Form 2023.
    1. Visit the official website of the CUET, i.e. https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
    2. Click on the 'Apply Online' tab to register for the program.
    3. After clicking, candidates can choose the UG, PG, and RP programs.

    5. After submitting all the details, the generated application number and password are sent to your registered e-mail id and mobile number.

    CUET EXAM 2023 Admit Card
    Admit card is a significant paper to carry along with you on exam day. The authority only releases admit cards for successfully registered Applicants.
    The CUET EXAM Admit Card is available 10 to 15 days before the CUET EXAM 2023 exam date. For more details, refer to the related admit card notice. The CUET EXAM Admit Card will feature the exam centre address, exam timings, application number, and course. You should carry your CUET EXAM Admit Card and a valid photo ID on the examination day.     CUET EXAM 2023 Answer Key
    After the successful conduct of the CUET exam, the authority will release the provisional answer key in July 2023. Candidates can even contest the answer key by providing supporting documents if there are any discrepancies. However, you need to complete the process in a stipulated time.     Once the exam is successfully conducted, CUET EXAM Cut-off will be released along with the CUET EXAM result.     CUET EXAM 2023 Counselling
    After the candidate has successfully attempted CUET EXAM 2023 and cleared the exam, they must sit for a counselling session organised by the authority. This session is for all the qualifying candidates, and the seats are provided on a Merit basis.
    Counselling for CUET happens individually at every Central University for the selected candidates. The CUET consortium will invite the candidates if their name is on the counselling session list. If the candidate has been called on to offline counselling, they will be required to reach the University campus and attend the session.
    Post the release of the CUET result, each of the participating universities will start its CUET counselling process.
